Plac Europejski (the Europe Square) is the youngest of Warsaw squares. Constructed entirely by the developer on their privately-owned land, it was put into use by all residents of the capital in 2016. It has an area of 1.5 ha and is twice the size of the Castle Square. It is a meeting and recreation spot and its surface is completely car-free. Numerous cultural events take place among the fountains and greenery, accompanied by two murals and the installation “I love Warsaw”. The square also houses the Art Walk passage, which presents temporary exhibitions in the form of characteristic display windows.
