Folk Gospoda is one of the oldest restaurants in Warsaw. It opened in the 17th century already and witnessed many historical events. It was here, according to the legend, that Ksawery Branicki was treated after a duel with the famous womaniser, Giacomo Casanova. Tadeusz Kościuszko, in turn, celebrated his promotion here. The inn burned down during the November Uprising. Renovated in 2004, it cultivates its traditions, offering guests Polish cuisine of the highest quality. Only natural ingredients from the best suppliers are used to prepare the dishes. The restaurant also makes its own cakes, bread and even butter. The restaurant’s reputation is confirmed by numerous awards and prizes.
